Legacy Love: Kathryn + John
I’m currently working on a project where I’m photographing couples who have been married 50 years or more. Kathryn and John graciously welcome me into their home and allowed to me to photograph them. They will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary this year and have a beautiful legacy that includes children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. It was so nice to chat and spend time with this wonderful couple. When I asked them for advice on marriage, John beautifully said, “You have to know (as a couple) what you’re trying to win.” Seeing the quilt that hangs in their home filled with photos of generations of their family, what they’ve won together is precious and incalculable. Thank you Kathryn and John for allowing me to capture the love you have for one another!
